Matt completed his Undergraduate education at the University of Rochester where he earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A in Psychology. As an undergrad, he conducted research on the physiological outcomes of various types of social stress and the importance of basic psychological need satisfaction in human motivation. He is now a medical student at University of Colorado School of Medicine and is graduating in May of 2022. Matt has a strong interest in Psychiatry and has continued his research work in a variety of areas including interventions in Palliative Care patients, psycho-social distress in caregivers, and, most recently, psychological complications in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
