Elisabeth Rehfeldt is a first-year medical student originally from Columbus, Wisconsin, and currently attending Medical College of Wisconsin. She attended University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate degree, where she double-majored in Biology and Psychology. It was through her undergraduate experience, both academically and professionally, that she discovered her passion for psychiatry and emergency medicine. She has continued to foster this interest in medical school, culminating currently in her role as a student researcher in the ED DC TO CARE program; She looks forward to continuing research in medical school, with her focus on mental health and social determinants of health from an Emergency Department perspective.
