Jacqueline Posada is a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at GWU Hospital. She graduated medical school from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she first cultivated her mission of working with under-served populations and addressing inequity in our healthcare system. She completed her general psychiatry residency at GWU and her CL fellowship with the GWU-Inova Fairfax Consultation Liaison Fellowship, and she is a former APA-SAMHSA Minority fellow. Her professional interests include neuropsychiatry especially delirium, integrating psychiatry into general medicine, addressing health disparities, and use of mindfulness in medical settings.
