Medical Student
St. George's University School of Medicine
I am a 4th year medical student attending St. George's University School of Medicine interested in the field of Neurology with piquing interest in the overlap of Psychiatry. I majored in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology and Organismal Physiology at Drexel University. My first exposure to neurology was a clinical assistant at Princeton Brain, Spine, and Sports Medicine where I was able to work along side neurologists and neurosurgeons taking on a variety of cases. Working with these patients and physicians honed my interest in the realm of medicine to Neurology. While my time as a medical student rotating at Hackensack University Medical Center, the opportunities in working with dedicated mentors led me to a much deeper appreciation in the convergency of Neurology and Psychiatry. My time at Hackensack University Medical Center allowed me to observe the close interaction of both fields in psychopathology. I hope to aspire to fulfill my goal of becoming an accomplished Neurologist with a sound fund of knowledge in the field of Psychology.
