Sarah Beneteau is a Nurse Practitioner in the Transplant Psychiatry Program at Toronto General Hospital. She graduated with her Masters in Nursing and Certification as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner from the University Of Windsor in 2019. Sarah is a previous co-investigator with the Centre for Research in Inner City Health and St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. In this role, Sarah studied the first integration of peer support specialists into an inpatient Mental Health Program. During her graduate studies, Sarah was the recipient of several scholarships which recognized her contribution to health care for individuals living with severe mental illness. Her individual academic writing focused on a sense of belonging as a protective factor for suicide prevention. She has a special interest in quality of care provided to patients living with mental illness within the Multi-Organ Transplant program.
