Tricia Lemelle, MD, MBA is a first-year child and adolescent psychiatry fellow and rising chief fellow at Georgetown University. She completed her adult psychiatry training at Virginia Tech University School of Medicine-Carilion Clinic before fast tracking into her CAP fellowship program. She is an APA Diversity Leadership Fellow, AACAP/SAMHSA Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Virtual Fellow, and currently serves on the APA Council on Minority Mental Health and Health Disparities and APA Council on Healthcare Systems and Financing. Her career interests include health policy and advocacy, serving underserved/marginalized populations, and school based mental health. Upon graduation, she plans to return to her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana to serve her local community.
