Dr. Christine Annibali, MD completed her undergraduate degree at Temple University in psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology and minor in religion. Afterwards, she worked as a research coordinator and neuropsychological technician at Drexel University School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, where she presented and published on several topics related to the neuropsychological profiles of neurological disorder such as Multiple Sclerosis, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. She then completed medical school at Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) where she was awarded the RWJMS Academic Excellence Award in Psychiatry. She stayed at RWJMS to complete her general psychiatry residency and was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Foundation's Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award as well as the NJPA Remarkable Achievement Award. She was awarded the co-chief resident position and was chair of several residency committees. Additionally, Dr. Annibali developed the Global Mental Health Psychiatry Residency Program at RWJMS and completed a global health elective in Arad, Romania researching the hospitalization trends in a stand-alone psychiatric hospital. Throughout residency, she presented and published on topics related to medical education, mental health in LGBTQ+, and global mental health. After completing residency, Dr. Annibali transition to Keck School of Medicine of USC as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences on the Psychiatric Emergency and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry services.
