Brandon Hamm is an Assistant Professor clinically active on the consultation-liaison psychiatry and collaborative care at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and was a 2018-2019 Academy of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Webb Fellow. Areas of research include acute agitation management, care provider experience, decision-making capacity evaluation, psychiatric education, bioethics, virtue ethics, resident empathy and burnout, frostbite. Clinical interests also include neuropsychiatry, epilepsy, psychodermatology, somatoform disorders, sedation approaches in the setting of mechanical ventilation, quality improvement.
