Dr. Priyanka Amin is an attending psychiatrist working in emergency psychiatry at UPMC Western's Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES). She is interested in patient safety and quality improvement. Her clinical interests are reproductive psychiatry and trauma, particularly sexual violence and acute trauma. She is interested in trainee education and well-being. She is a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management team and a trainer for UPMC's physician peer support program, Physicians for Physicians. Dr. Amin completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh SOM and general psychiatry residency at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, where she served as the first chief resident for well-being.
