Jasmine Tatum, MD graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University with a B.S. in Psychology. After completing several scholarly projects aimed to reduce racial biases within psychological measures and treatments, Dr. Tatum was accepted into the Sigma Xi Research Society and was awarded the Howard Crosby Senior Prize for scholarly attainment and moral character. She then went on to earn her MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she co-authored eight publications, participated in several poster presentations, and was awarded the Netter Merit Scholarship for her outstanding academic performance and commitment to science in service to society. After graduating from Mount Sinai, Dr. Tatum joined Stanford’s General Psychiatry Residency Training Program in 2019. She has published several first-author papers and has continued her research in collaborative care, cross-cultural psychiatry, and diversity and inclusion. Dr. Tatum is dual enrolled in the Consult Liaison Psychiatry Pathway and the Diversity and Equity Pathway at Stanford.
