Dr. Guitelle St.Victor works at Nassau University Medical Center where she serves as Assistant Clinical Director of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry service and as the Clerkship Director for Psychiatry for one of the three medical schools of the Center. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at St.Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital(Mount Sinai) in NY, NY and her fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Hospital, (Northwell LIJ),NY. She is board- certified and recertified in Adult Psychiatry and also board certified and recertified in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and also a Fellow of the Academy of Consultation_Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP). On a daily basis, she teaches Psychiatry and Consultation Psychiatry to Consultation Psychiatry fellows, Psychiatry residents, Psychology Interns and Externs, and Medical Students. She is the 6th psychiatrist in her family, blessed with the command of four languages, and with a special interest in Women’s Mental Health , Neuropsychiatry, and Cultural Psychiatry. She is the recipient of the 2019 Award by the American University of the Caribbean for the “Clinical Faculty Teaching Award of the year 2019” and the “2020 Nancy Roeske Award Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Medical Student Education” by the American Psychiatric Association.
