Susan Abbey is a psychiatrist specializing in the psychiatric care of the medically ill. She is the Program Medical Director and Psychiatrist-in-Chief at University Health Network and Professor at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Her academic interests are in transplant psychiatry, psychiatric aspects of critical care and mindfulness meditation. She is past president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. She is a member of the MGH Fellowship lineage and did her fellowship under Ned Cassem and George Murray.
