My graduate career was focused on the development and understanding of how the opioid receptor system plays a role in learning and memory processes in rodents. After graduate school I began work as a post-doc developing an extracellular physiology system in a new lab. This work also included building out data pipelines and analysis streams for the vast amounts of incoming data. I began work at Denver Health in March 2020 as a behavioral health data scientist. My work at Denver Health has rapidly advanced many areas of care and research within behavioral health. An initial project focused on evaluating the performance of a suicide risk assessment tool (Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale Screener, CSSRS). Further work has assessed the impact of the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic on psychiatric emergency service utilization, resulting in a conference presentation at the annual meeting for the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP) 2020 virtual meeting, as well as a paper in prep.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
