Anne Louise Stewart received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her psychiatry residency at Texas A&M College of Medicine - Baylor Scott and White Medical Center. She was drawn to Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry due to the fascinating intersection of psychiatric symptoms, medical illnesses, ethical dilemmas, and legal issues. She completed a Consultation Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at UT Southwestern and is now an assistant professor at the University of Virginia.
