Anton Makhiboroda graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Psychology and Biology. Prior to medical school, he spent three years as a research assistant at Bradley Hasbro Children's Research Center investigating the role of biomarkers and social and affective predictors on suicidal thoughts and behaviors in adolescents. In 2017, he entered medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and found a unique and exciting blend of medicine, psychiatry, and advocacy on the consult-liaison services at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines VA. This July he began his adult psychiatry residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. His professional interests include consult-liaison and child and adolescent psychiatry.
