Dr. Jacobowski is board certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and hospice and palliative medicine and clinically practices both pediatric consultation liaison psychiatry with emphasis on psycho-oncology and pediatric palliative care. Her clinical and academic emphases are recognition and treatment of pediatric delirium, unique psychiatric and palliative needs of adolescent and young adult oncology patients, and improving psychiatric symptom recognition and treatment in pediatric palliative care through improving primary psychiatry skills in palliative care providers and increasing collaboration between the specialties.
