She previously worked at UCSF and the San Francisco VA with roles in women's mental health, resident and medical student education. She has been involved in the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators Diversity, Education and Inclusion Committee, the SFVA Mental Health Diversity Council and served as a medical student coach during the UCSF Differences Matter Orientation.
