Dr. Federoff is currently a PGY3 psychiatry resident at UCSD. She has conducted research at both the NINDS and NIA, and earned her PhD in Neurogenetics from the University College London in a program sponsored by the National Institute of Aging. Monica has published extensively on the genetic regulation of neurodegenerative disorders. Her current research interests include further elucidating the relationship between mood disorders and circadian rhythms. She is an avid runner and enjoys cooking, painting and spending time with family, friends and her dog.
