Bryce Wininger (he / him / his) is a CL-trained, early career, faculty psychiatrist at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his MD in 2013 at the Indiana University School of Medicine; general adult psychiatry residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 2017; and consult-liaison fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2018. He has been board-certified by the ABPN since 2017 in general psychiatry and in CL psychiatry since 2019. He currently attends an interdisciplinary inpatient medical-psychiatric team with residents and medical students under his supervision. He also works in an integrated health model ("collaborative care"), consulting to three large primary care practices within the MGH system. He also volunteers with the MGH Asylum Clinic, providing forensic evaluations for clients who are seeking political asylum and supervising the psychiatric residents and social workers who also volunteer in the program. He directs a course on Transition to Practice for PGY-3 and -4 residents and teaches individual lectures on a number of topics (including GABAergic withdrawal management, catatonia diagnosis and management, and introduction to attachment theory) to residents, medical students, and PhD clinical fellows in Psychology. He has special interests in medical toxicology, nutrition and integrative medicine, global mental health, HIV/AIDS psychiatry, and LGBT health. Dr. Wininger has been a member of the ACLP since 2015.
