Samantha Stern, PhD is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist in the department of psychiatry and behavioral health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She completed her doctorate at the Illinois Institute of Technology, residency at the University of Washington, and fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her clinical interests include conducting neuropsychological evaluations with diverse patients with neurological disease (e.g., multiple sclerosis, epilepsy), acquired injuries (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke), and/or neurodegenerative disease. She also has expertise in delivering rehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitation interventions. Her research interests include psychosocial adaptation to cognitive impairment and chronic illness/disability, neuropsychological functioning among patients with neurological disease, and neuropsychological testing issues (i.e., performance validity).
